Marathon Sierpniowy is the biggest marathon in Poland, held in the northern city of Gdansk. For the second time our team skaters Kathi Rumpus and Felix Rijhnen took part in this amazing race. It was a tough race, with rain and difficult conditions for the skaters from about halfway through. Felix and Kathi were both able to take home the wins, and it was also one of their last preparation races for the Berlin Marathon.
Beside winning it, together with Powerslide Speed Team manager Scott Arlidge they made special clinics for kids - warm-up before race - and later for adults skater - for those who are starting to race and also for these who got more experience in speed skating.
